Price went up by $10K. I don't get these dealers sometimes. No immediate bite on a PTS nicely optioned conversion car and yet they think that by upping another $10K it will get more attention? SMH.

At an Indy dealer: 2022 3k mile Shark Blue manual 992 GT3T with an asking price $10K less than the Porsche North Houston 2018 5k mile GT Silver 991.2 GT3T. Hard to believe but this thing is getting out of hand. It's becoming almost like a "Get in while you can" scenario.

Obviously the car is that good but its crazy. Another buddy bought the Merit Meerblau car at their asking($280k I think) and the salesman said he had many other buyers lined up if he didn't commit quickly. He's a VERY happy customer and new owner of a 991.2 GT3T!!!

Congratulations to your buddy. It is a very elegant car. I was one of the other buyers but my max offer was their previous sale price which was $20K less and at 3k miles less. They declined so I moved on and then this one came along which ended up hurting my wallet 5x more but no regrets here either.

It seems as though there is a frenzy to find PTS 991.2's as quickly as possible. It's nice to see the 991.2 GT3 finally getting the attention that they deserve. I opportunistically listed my Irish Green GT3 last week for $269k and didn't expect to receive so much interest with strong offers and also consignment options. I'm mentioning this because I'm finding that many people seem to be cross shopping touring and non-touring so long as the specification is special enough.
My question for this group is would you rather buy a hard to find spec from a dealer who is representing for an owner or from a private owner directly? I know that buying from a private owner here in IL has significant tax advantages where you pay only a reduced use tax and avoid paying retail sales tax.

Posting this small OEM mods and service items list here more for posterity searches in case I ever decide to move on from this car: (Highly doubtful) but since we decided to keep this thread alive, I will just use it as an owner's thread as well.
.- At 645 miles, service performed at Porsche West Broward:
.- Windshield had 2 rock chips so I guess the singular prior owner must've had a fit at such low mileage. Also a small area of the factory blacked out edges of the windshield was starting to delaminate, and these small details drive me nuts so I had the windshield replaced with OEM from factory. My fleet insurance deductible is too darn high (much much higher than the replacement cost of the glass) so this will not show on the car's Car Fax as a claim, only under the service items list from PWB.
.- Car needed the 4-year service due to time passed, not mileage; that is being done. Long list of stuff associated with this, I'm sure all of you 991.2 GT3T owners know what I am talking about. not a pleasant $5K+ surprise, as this is normally done while car is still under warranty. I did it on my 992 GT3T right before the 1 year warranty expired at barely 2000 miles. Anyway, had to be done.
.- Car was still on factory tires so replacing those with new rubber and new shoes as well (see mods).
.- Full interior/exterior detail including interior ceramic treatment. This is from my detailer Precision Mobile Detail, not PWB.
Mods: All OEM
.- Center console in leather with Porsche Crest
.- Clear side signal markers
.- Under puddle light projectors (OEM retrofit for 991 models)
.- OEM Silver center lock wheels. Wasn't feeling these black ones. Will save for posterity and the old tires too.
.- Window tint replacement to clear UV film.
.- The PPF has had its day so contemplating replacement as well.
....more updates as we go along..

As many cars as I have bought and sold over the years the ones I enjoyed the most were with other likeminded enthusiasts. Yeah you get the craigslist questions or tire kickers but the real buyers are usually cool folks which is also why I like selling to private parties. Every car I have had some kind of attachment to and want to know someone else has gotten to enjoy, track, rally, cars and coffee etc vs the BAT approach right now where all the "PTS or high spec" cars are being bought up by dealers marking them up 20-30% and willing to just sit on them or get put away for safe keeping vs driven and truly enjoyed. Not sure this helps or answers your question end of the day you have an amazing car that hopefully will get enjoyed by the next owner!
