Will be interesting to see where it shakes out. Kind of an odd duck - sofas, not buckets; red seat inserts will be highly polarizing, and red stitching for a car with PCCB feels like too many colors floating around; then the silver exterior trim not a great match. High miles. That said, GT silver is a great color and it’s well optioned. Might wet someone’s whistle, but not for me.

Not easily. They are stitched in so it would require a lot of work to get them swapped out. The interior of that car doesn't flow at all. Red seat centers with red stitching but the rest of the car has platinum stitching everywhere else. I think it'll still go for 230+ but would take a decent amount of work/money to get it looking 'right.'

@ Rennlist Mods: can you please merge this thread wherever it is appropriate within the 991 GT3 forum? I will wait for a reply before I close it. I think it became an epic WTB thread with a lot of useful information that should not be lost in the marketplace closed Ads bin. Thank you.

I wasn't necessarily looking for a garage ornament, but the deal made sense so here we are with an unbroken in 643 mile PTS high msrp, crazy time capsule of a car. So before I listen to the 'unwise' advise of one of my best Porsche collector friends who recommends this not be driven as it will "get ruined", I will leave the thread open for a few days, for anyone out there interested in trading me their PTS 'driven car' +$$, for this one, with the criteria stated above on the Ad, please contact me via PM. I honestly don't care about miles, and I want to drive, I only care about condition/service of the car, but I am very aware a lot of people out there would love to own a sub 1k mile example as they value that more than anything else. Not me, car is not for outright sale, I didn't buy to flip, especially at this price point, but being a long time member of the Porsche community and the car hobby I have learned to spread the wealth as it gets multiplied back in droves. After DRT coming up I will happily proceed to properly 'ruin' this car and drive it as it was intended, past its break in mileage which I would be grateful if someone who already has had this experience lets me know what the procedure is, mileage count and RPM phasing so I get this right.

Thank you all who commented on this thread, and those of you who offered me their cars, thank you and wish all of you a proper sale if/when you decide to move on from your respective cars. This thing is amazing and I wish I would have been awake in 2017, could've saved me a few bucks and more importantly, 5+ years of enjoyment wasted. Time to catch up. Thanks again guys!

Why would you even be looking to trade? You literally got what you wanted, a PTS 991.2 touring in blue. I would just drive it and enjoy it, who cares about the miles. To quote Jerry Seinfeld "If you have the Porsche with the lowest miles, you lose" What ever markup you paid will be negligible in the years to come when you factor enjoyment and desirability of the 991.2 touring. I find that if I don't drive my cars I don't feel connected to them as they are just paper weights sitting in the garage. But if I use them as intended it's hard for me to fathom giving them up. I would say that a good percentage of us paid a lot more than what we wanted to pay for our tourings and those of us that did probably don't regret it one bit after owning the car.

@jp884 Thanks for the post, which I agree 1000%. The 'looking to trade' thoughts expired Sunday night as I had prefaced in my purchase update post above. Now all I am looking for is for an RL mod to merge this thread on the 991. GT3 forum before I close it.
