Hello guys. Need some advices getting a better deal from my local dealership. I was only able to get about 3% off of MSRP if I were to order a GTS ($86000 msrp) or a turbo with performance package ($108000 msrp). As a repeated client who picked up a GT3 from them a year ago, I was not too happy with what I was quoted. I am in the Bay Area, CA. Thank you in advance for your input.

Let your fingers do the walking. (If you are old enough, you'll know what that means. If not, just call around and you're bound to find better deals.) Those are two desirable models, but I would believe there's more to be had than three points.

Stevens Creek has a red GTS on their floor marked down by that without any negotiation, so I'm guessing one can do better than 3 percent.

U have to be willing to travel or ship the car to u to get a better deal. And u have to b willing to spend a lot of time finding a dealer with an allocation he is willing to discount. Last year I found a new Macan Turbo in stock at a 13% discount with all the right options for me. But it took me a lot of time to find and was 500 miles away. What u want is maybe tougher to find, because they just announced and dealers may not even know what their allocations might b. U might have to both work hard and b patient, to find a good deal.

The turbo will lose 25k pretty quickly, the GTS will retain most of its value. Discounts aside, that was enough for me to not even think about the turbo...though the perf package car sounds pretty fun...

thanks for all your advice and suggestion. sounds like GTS is a better option. I am confused to why my local dealership is not budging on the 6% discount since my spec order would be a minimal risk transaction.

I am surprised a GTS would hold it's value that well tbh. I figured it would depreciate in a similar manner at the rest of hte macan lineup. It's not that special. Either way I am glad to hear it. Mine delivers in late October but I was able to get 6% off

Over here 6% is pretty easy right now with several dealers starting at 5% at least on the GTS. It depends on allocations though and demand. With the PP being so fresh might be harder on those.
