Default Dealer has Macan inbound tomorrow, but...

say they can't release it until after the 'Macan Launch Event' on May 17th. Dealer is located is So. Cal. and I'm posting this on behalf of my brother who isn't a Rennlister (yet).

Sounds like a load of bollocks to me. Any thoughts?

Thx,

Vivian

Never mind the bollocks, here come the sex pistols!...sorry, always think of that when I hear the word "bollocks."
True story...cars stay at the dealer until the 17th.

I am going to drive my wife a little nuts when her Macan S shows up in June. I've arranged to be there when the car is unloaded from the truck. I'll immediately have the windows tinted to my wife's liking, before any pre-delivery work is done. My dealer is giving me room in the shop to peel the plastic myself and spend a day doing a full detail on the car - wash with my de-ionized water, blow dry, then move into the delivery area to clay the paint, polish out any imperfections, wax. It will be perfect when my wife arrives to pick it up...I can't wait!

I am going to immediately scratch my wife's new Macan so we can get over the fear of hurting it in parking lots

Doesn't mean we don't drive our cars, just that they look great while we do, and the effort is therapeutic for me
