Alright, my PIWIS III System from InnovativeSoft has arrived. I'm going to be taking this slowly at first, but let's get to work! I see a lot of coding documentation for other Porsche Models, but no thread specifically for Macan, so let's make this "it".

My first (hopefully easy) desired features are:
1. Remember PASM mode from last start
2. Remember Seat heating/cooling from last start

There is already a full Excell sheet for Macan. look on Macanforum. You will not be able to code 1 and 2.

And you have tried to code these two features specifically? There are controls for everything under the sun. I'll be surprised if it is not in there.

Not much good information in that thread. Maybe you meant to post a different thread. I think we can do a lot better here if folks are interested. The link I posted from the 718 forum has a lot of good stuff honestly, and it is reasonably organized. I'd like to do something similar for Macan programming.

I plan to read all 26 pages of that thread end to end as part of my education. And yes I see there are lots of nuggets in there. I am hoping to collectively create a more concise resource. Have a look at at that 718 thread I linked. It's "better". I think PIWIS has a pretty steep learning curve and I hope we can boil that down to a good list of mods and how to do each one.

Took my first crack at programming today. The system from InnovativeSoft worked great so that's the good news. Vehicle detection worked, no issues with the connection. And programming was written to the vehicle without issue. But the actual programming I tried didn't have the effect I wanted. I was trying to lower the ride height on my 2020 Turbo.

From reading the thread over on macanforum, it seemed like it should be pretty straightforward. I was able to raise the ride height but not lower it. Has anyone done this specific mod?

Here were my stock values:


I tried +20 as well as -20, both front and rear with the same adjustment. But I was unable to get the vehicle to lower at all. Even turned it off then back on, raised it, lowered it, then took it for a short drive, but it measures the same as when I started, right around 31" all around from floor to top of wheel well. Yes I know I should be measuring from the center of the wheel but that's a trickier measurement so I was using the floor as my reference.

Let me know if anyone has successfully performed this programming.

This does work , you did not do the procedure properly.
This is documented on Macanforum: you need to measure correctly and add and enter correctly.

Be careful , some have completely emptied their bags doing this incorrectly, and that will suck !

Found the issue and was successful on the second try. The old posts on Macanforum appear to just be out of date.

You no longer increase the measured height. You lower the adjusted height. I did this with the vehicle running. The height adjusts immediately after writing the new settings. Pretty slick.

You performed this in E mode , that is why. V mode , or English, you need to add .

No, the procedure documented previously does not work. My measurements from center to top of wheel well matched the first group of measurements I showed. But adjusting them up does nothing. Adjusting them down does nothing. The procedure I showed works.

No, your wrong, but what ever, you are new to this right ?

Switch your rig to V mode, you will not see the adjustment screen you used. Just saying that it DOES work by using the normal calibration mode in V mode and entering correctly.
