The electrical connector on mine would not seat fully/would not slide all the way on with the new aftermarket lights. I compared the OEM pins to the aftermarket pins and saw that the aftermarket pins were longer. I snipped a little off the ends of the aftermarket pins to make them the same length as the OEM pins, and then the car's electrical connector slid back on fully and correctly. Everything else about the aftermarket lights fit perfectly. They are a lot brighter and look great! Glad I did it.

Does anyone know if these same LEDs can be used to replace the dim lights in the driver and front passenger foot-wells?
Yes they can.
The trunk and the front footwell light housings and electrical connectors are identical on my 2023. The aftermarket light boards fit both the trunk and the front footwells the same. I replaced them both. Great results!

Great to know. It came out 4 in a set and didn't know what to do with the other 2. Now I have great use for them!

Just did this mod. Used the same Ebay LEDs listed above.
One issue I don't see posted above...on the set of LEDs I received, the pins for the plug were about 2x longer than the original LEDs so the connectors would not seat fully. I cut them off with wire cutters to match, worked fine.
Wow what a difference!!
