If it was going through a car wash, submit a claim. Friend just did on Wife's car, not a Macan.

Good thought but thinking would rather not have it show up on Carfax.

True, not worth it. Like your replacement idea better.

How badly scratched could it be? I would hit that with some compound and a DA polisher or a least give a Detailer a shot at it

So pic below. None of them catch a fingernail and I'm dropping off at repair shop Monday morning to see if they can take care of. Owner says he's pretty sure he can. That said, this was the first brand new car my wife has ever had and it broke her heart that it happened a month into ownership. Want to make sure it's fixed even if that means I have to replace it.

I can't see why you'd need a new part. That's just paint work.

It appears like you'll need the paint on the roof buffed out as well. It looks minor enough that a good detailer should be able to fix.

don't think that's paint folks -- the roof spoiler is polished plastic with some clear coat. if OP had a buffer and some polishing material, he can probably just buff it out.
Though if those scratches are through the plastic down, then it's filler time. if bodyshop has to fill it -- i'd replace the roof spoiler.

It might buff out but a few of those look like they might be deeper than the paint.... or at least the clear. Can you catch your fingernail in any of them? If so, you might be able to buff them but the scratches/grooves might still remain. For sure I would buff those out simply because I have the skill and equipment to do so and see how it looks. I think you'd be able to get rid of the residual paint off both the roof and spoiler though.

Default 23 macan gts rear spoiler

So hey guys, I caught my rear spoiler on my garage door backing it out, It's cracked pretty bad. Was contemplating trying to fix or replace. The only place I had found an oem turbo / GTS spoiler for the new macans is on Suncoast. It's $1,300 00 and comes primered so you have to paint it? All of them I've ever seen are just black plastic? Anybody have any ideas?
