Just about at the halfway point. time to start ordering small Mods (clear side markers, Techart rear spoiler lip) and making PPF /ceramic coat appointments in advance.
Can anyone tell me how we track our build? I was told the build had been accepted, the expected delivery date but there is nothing in the "MyPorsche" account. Can we track our builds like the 911 guys?

"my porsche" has 11 dates through delivery to dealer. Your sales rep can pull up dates for you if your account doesn't provide you any info.
Mine has been at Emden since 5/25. 3 vehicle carriers just pulled into port and I hope mine has a ticket on one of them.

First, did you get a commission number from your dealer? That confirms 100% that you have a build slot. From there, you should provide your dealer with your email address and they will attach the build to your My Porsche account, and from there, can you see and track the status. You can also ask you sales advisor to send you a screen shot from what is called the PVMS - Porsche Vehicle Management System, which shows all of the stages and status of the build, on their end.

Thank you very much for the info. I'll send them an email asking for this info.

My sales guy is telling me this only applies to "sports cars" and not the Macan.
Yeah, that isn't true. Tell them you want to be able to track it online. Are you sure they have an allocation? Either the guy is new, or they are being shady.

I'm sure I have an allocation. I was shown last Saturday that the build was accepted and they showed me my car on the online calendar with a delivery date of Oct 27, 2023
And there is the email I was telling you about. Sound like you have a rookie SA.
Yes, he is for sure a rookie. I'm guessing he went and talked to the GSM about this. No way it's coincidence. In any case I'm happy that it's taken care of.
