I chose not to go with the higher res only because to go back to the Porsche layout you have to scroll to get to the Porsche app icon. I liked having the icons on the left to quickly scroll to.
Just did the whole screen HD CarPlay install in my 2020 Turbo, looks great! Went via InnovativeSoft's website, sent in a contact form, they reached out via iMessage and we chatted throughout the whole process.
They even showed me which network adapter to buy that would work with the car, and were patient with my mild security paranoia.
Overall, process took maybe an hour, including switching machines at one point because my primary machine is an M1 Mac and couldn't perform some of the tweaks needed for the network adapter to work with my Porsche. If you can do it all on one box, it'll probably be 30-45m.
Another satisfied and happy customer of Raymond (innovativesoft), he fixed our display for 2023 Macan in less than in hour. We are very happy with this mod and highly recommend.
Raymond took me and my Macan through the upgrade and it looks fabulous. Crazy that this isn’t the setup from Porsche but happy with my purchase.

I am really interested in getting this change made however can’t conceive the cost that people are charging for something quite simple.
Yes, if it were simple there would be lots of routes to get the change made however it’s a small config change and it’s a case of holding the keys and taking advantage of it, which is fair I guess.
However, does anyone know somewhere or someone that can help with this at a lower price point?
Some people may not agree with my post, sorry for that. I do own a Macan but I don’t have endless cash unfortunately, I own a Macan because I make careful decisions to be able to stretch for a car I enjoy.
Thank you for sharing your opinion; we truly value and appreciate your concerns.
While you may perceive certain elements as straightforward configurations, the reality is somewhat different. In fact, there are configurations that simply cannot be modified. For further clarity, please refer to this project:
It might seem simple based on the end result you see, but achieving that seamless display requires significant effort. On average, each car takes about an hour to set up, including computer configuration time. If the full HD screen is beyond your budget, our economical full-screen option might be more suitable.
Please note that we are not just random individuals online. Our customers on Rennlist consistently receive excellent service both during and post-installation. The quality of our work and the value we provide greatly surpasses the cost of our products.
With us, you receive not only a quality product and service but also peace of mind. We've serviced over 500 cars for Rennlist members and remain the only company that ensures no fake codes are added to your vehicle, preserving your Porsche warranty.
Lastly, we understand your concerns about pricing. While some may perceive this as a "small config change," the intricacies and efforts involved in ensuring top-notch quality and service speak volumes. We aim to offer competitive pricing without compromising on quality. If budget is a concern, we're always open to discussing solutions that work best for you.

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate the response, I will likely get this complete early in the new year, I do very much want the Full HD option so anything you can to do help would be great. Is there any delays in the system switching to the warning sensors, reverse camera views etc?
it will be no delay and the other thing will work as normal. and we guarantee our work for everyone we served.
also if your macan is before 2022 build we also have the module to fix the skip track issue on your steering wheel which won’t work in CarPlay mode at moment.
If your macan is after 2022 build then should be fine , as Porsche has made the new steering wheel for it

what year is your car? for some older generations (PCM 4) there is a free online tool. For PCM 5 there is another member of the Macan forum who charges a much more nominal fee to enable full width carplay
