I have a 2020 Macan GTS with a factory hitch. I'm looking to remove the hitch, anyone in Columbus, Ohio area looking for a hitch we can swap parts?

When I first exchanged messages with you, my ‘21 Macan GTS was at a local shop who was looking at Porsche vs aftermarket options for a trailer hitch for me. If he was unable to get an aftermarket hitch, my plan was to contact you to see if we could do the swap you requested (I am in the Boston area). He found and mounted an aftermarket hitch and purchased, from a local Porsche dealer, a new rear valance that has the cutout for the hitch’s receiver. I now have the original impact bar and diffuser if you are interested in purchasing them. Uf you are interested, let me know and we will work out a price.

Sorry it took me so long to reply but I had some errands to run and just returned home. If all you need is the impact bar, I did some research and three prices I found were $147, $147 & $151. If I were to ship the bar to you, the shipping cost would be quite high. You would be better off buying the part locally from a Porsche dealer or ordering it from an online retailer who might offer free shipping.
If you wanted the impact bar and the diffuser/valance, which is much more expensive than the impact bar, I would have sold you both at a price much lower than what a dealer would charge for them and the shipping cost would not have been as onerous because you would have saved a lot buying the valance and impact bar inexpensively from me.
Perhaps you can return the valance you purchased for a refund and buy my valance & impact bar? I just took delivery of my '21 GTS and the parts were removed when the vehicle had a tad over 100 miles on it. They are perfect in every way!
If you want to continue this dialogue, let's go via email. I can be reached at sartick@gmail.com

I hate to admit it but just last week I tossed it out with the trash! I offered it to a friend who owns a body shop, who said he was unsure as to when he might ever need it and I could not envision myself having any need for it. Sorry!

You can find them used as many second owner vehicles have owners that consider the hitch an eyesore. I never thought I would add a hitch but found that adding the hitch receiver and valance was less expensive than rails and cross bars so I could roll with my kids bike. I got lucky and found mine on CL little over an hour away from my house. Goes on the car this coming Tuesday (40K tune and Powerflex tranny insert scheduled as well.) Keep searching. Also consider the necessary wiring, you never know if you might need to power some trailer lights...

Sorry I do not have the part #. I had the work done a couple of years ago by a body shop and cannot find the paperwork. What I do know is that the valance with the hitch cutout I had installed had an Audi part number. The owner of the body shop told me that the same part is used on both Porsche & Audi. There are lots of websites that shown parts diagrams and the part #s. I suspect you can also get the info by calling a Porsche dealer Parts Dept. Sorry I could be more help.
