Android Auto Installed

@simaservis1108 I would like to add all of this functionality as well. I have MHI2_US_POG11_P3300 0809 w/ Connect+ and native voice stalk. Would also like to update the native maps...any chance this update fixes the Google Earth issue? Would love to have satellite maps back in the native navigation.
Can't figure out how to PM you though...

Hi @simaservis1108 , new user here so I cannot PM you. Would you be able to add Android Auto on a brand new 2022 Macan GTS?

Hi @simaservis1108 , can you tell me how to get in touch with you as well? Would like to add Android Auto to 2022 Macan

Finally had android auto activated on my 2018 Macan GTS.
Always bugged me that it wasn't an option. Contacted Serbia Elektronike Koya on Facebook. All I need was an Ethernet to usb adapter (Jue130) and a SD card. Gave access with team viewer on an old laptop that never gets used and was up and running in no time.

Also, what is the ethernet to usb cable for?
Thanks.

The ethernet to USB connector/cable connects your laptop to your PCM via the USB port in your car. The JUE130 adapter has a USB cable on one end and an ethernet wired plug on the other end. You plug the USB end of the JUE130 ethernet adapter into a USB port in your car. You then plug an ethernet cable between your laptop's ethernet port and the JUE130 ethernet adapter. Your laptop will also need to be connected to the internet via WiFi. With team viewer running, Sima can remotely take over your laptop via the internet and download code to your PCM to unlock the desired features, i.e., CarPlay, Android Auto, update maps, etc. It only takes a few minutes. If you're concerned about security with respect to letting him have access to your laptop, use an old laptop that you've previously "scrubbed" to remove all pertinent user information, etc.

Thanks. If my laptop already has USB ports and no ethernet ports is there any reason I can't go usb to usb in the vehicle and not need to have the JUE 130 or ethernet to usb cable? Also, if you get a regular vehicle software update from Porsche will the whole process need to be redone? Thanks.

Not to undermine the "business" of those offering the service to enable this but has anyone wondered how exactly this is done? When they connect to the remote laptop, do they push a modified firmware or just change some parameters in a config file?
