Default Looking to Sell One Macan, Which One?

We love the Macans here in SoCal, but realize in this environment and for the foreseeable future we don't need two. Thinking of reducing our number of cars and selling one Macan. Appreciate any comments.

Sell both, plus one of the remaining cars. Batten down the hatches. Storm’s a comin’ in the country, especially Cali. Newsom will be a-knocking on your door soon to, ahem, instruct you that he’s ordering reduction in car count. Expect him to offer an EV discount coupon if you’ll hand over two Macans (for his personal use or auction).

Keep the better car (Turbo) and screw the depreciation. You bought a Turbo Macan at one point for a reason and if not driving it much it will last a long time and not cost much to maintain. Talk to your insurance carrier about the significant reduction in annual miles and that you're both now working from home, and you may lower tour insurance premiums on all your cars.

Probably correct. Also, good luck getting $80k for a non-PP non-CPO Turbo. I'd say you're looking more around $65-70, it doesn't matter what MSRP was.

This.

I have the same year and same highly optioned turbo as you. You will be luck to get $70K for it. A dealer or Carmax will give you about $55-60K.

Keep the Turbo! Also look on Carguru. Find your models, option them out. It’ll give you an idea what people and dealers are asking.

Carmax is another source. Personally I prefer Carguru.

Definitely keep the loaded 2018 Turbo.....the depreciation at this point will slow to a crawl and the car has so few miles.
Heavily optioned 2015-2018 Macan Turbos with low milage are in demand and commanding top dollar.

A non certified, non PP 18 turbo of any mileage is worth < $70K esp since one can get a new ‘21 GTS for $80K- the power difference is negligible and the updated electronics / cosmetics are significant...agree with others u should keep the turbo as it is already on the flatter part of the depreciation curve and is much more car than the S.

When looking at ‘18 Macan Turbos this summer there were a number of private party sellers looking for $75K+ which made no sense as new GTS’s were only a bit more and felt like a much newer car-

I looked to list it in a Macan for-sale category of the Rennlist Marketplace, doesn't exist?

Curious why you created the thread with the question at all...

The opinions came back unamously to keep the turbo and sell the other, yet you put the turbo up for sale.

You can certainly keep or sell whichever of your cars you like, but I'm confused why you asked for input if you were going to sell the turbo anyway.

GLWS.
