Son lectured me about what a ripoff the dealer oil change was on our Lexus IS 350. He took it to a Jiffy who used an incorrect crush washer. Leaked from the moment he brought it home.

I took it to the dealer and got it done properly, and paid for it. Never heard from Son again on that subject.

This is also why I get new tires done at the Porsche dealer. So the tire gorilla doesn't chip the PCCB.

My awesome Indy does my oil change for about $200. Worth the cost to me as I don’t have to deal with it and spend the time myself. Dealer wants 600$ for an oil change... that is simple price gouging. If you have a good Indy Porsche specialist nearby it’s a no brainer. If you don’t... either do it yourself or pay dealer. Do not go to a jiffy lube or equivalent
