Just finished installation this morning. Took about 45 minutes total. Excellent, logical, step-by-step instructions with good pictures. I needed to make some minor adjustments of the outer tabs of the center grilles on each side using a pair of pliers but that was it. Use masking or painter's tape as suggested to avoid scratching paint. Installed, they look great and undoubtedly will offer excellent protection. So nice to see an excellent quality product...and not made in China!
Ok. Installed. Read instructions for the 3 piece intercooler side grilles—install center, top then bottom. I also did lower radiator grille. Easy Peazy But: center grilles a bit finicky—no external side “clips”—only a “tension” bar and no tab/hole/insert under/into which the wing ca be inserted (that I could locate with fingers, flashlight and extension mirror.With a modicum of pressure, the centers can be dislodged inwards—at least retrievable vs. losing.
TYVM NC Trackrat.....just reinstalled. The “outside” facing “forearm” needs bending outward then the “arm” towards the front (towards you) to finagle into the slot. Now sturdy as top and bottom. Surprised because all other clips “right on” without adjustment.
