Updated Macan/Cayenne Transfer Case Warranty
Hi everyone! This was posted on PMOC (Porsche Macan Owners Group) on facebook a few hours ago.
Porsche has issued a release that states that transfer case repairs will now be covered from 7 years/unlimited miles from warranty start.
It also indicates 10 years/unlimited miles for Cayenne.
Aaaaand the best part! Porsche is willing to reimburse for TC repairs.

Very cool if this is legit! About time too! Hopefully us owners will receive a letter from PCNA regarding this to keep in our personal files.
I had a Cayenne Turbo that went through 3 transfer cases (all covered under warranty fortunately). So far, so good with my Macan currently at 24k miles (knock on wood).

I picked up a 2012 base cayenne a couple of weeks ago sight unseen. Worked well until this week the shifting became clunky. I called my local dealer in Canada and chatted them up about this, they confirmed the transfer case warranty extension is true and ran my VIN to see if my specific vehicle was eligible. It is, so I have it booked in for service next Friday as my symptoms are in line with transfer case failure. The service advisor said the part alone is $4,000+, glad I'm not paying out of pocket.
