Default used macan s purchase advice

hi folks - i am in the market for a used macan s in the sf bay area. my budget is limited so i am looking mostly at 2015 cars. any key things to look out for when purchasing a 2015 car (most of them have about 50k miles on them)?

some examples being considered (not many private party listings ... ).

I just bought a 2016 from porsche marin (CPO). I think that if you happen to find a CPO vehicle it can really be worth it but obviously it's becoming increasingly rare for 2015/2016. I think it's all about finding the happy medium about what you're comfortable with (risk of problems vs. lower upfront cost, what features you want, etc.) I'd go with #1 or #5 (low miles AND another 2.5 years of warranty!) but it's really what you're comfortable with.
Heads up that you'll find that a lot of the 2015/2016's have a fuel pump recall - obviously it's better if it's already done but any Porsche dealer will take care of it.

Get a PPI. Look for timing chain cover leaks. Double check the extended warranty. Most wont cover a leak, just a failure and it can be expensive to fix. It seems to happen early if it’s going to happen so if there is nothing there you should be clear. Also there are transfer case issues but should be covered by warranty if fails.

I have 135,000 miles on mine and could not be happier and had no issues with either.

check maintenance history. PDK service is 4 years or 40K so should have been done on the cars you are looking at.

Did you buy the Sapphire Blue/Agate Gray with PASM?
