Is there a list of the features that can be programmed/reprogrammed....??
We are getting our car tomorrow...things like lane change directional signal flashing more times...door opening and locking....etc...
I've never seen a list. But if you check the manual there's some things you can program via the PCM, such as how long the lights stay on when you get out and lock the car, if the doors lock when you drive off, if unlocking unlocks all doors or just drivers, etc. . Press the car button on the PCM. You can always download the "good to know" app on your smartphone, that will give you the manual on your phone.

If you're accustomed to what you can do with a BMW you'll be disappointed with what you can do with the Macan. Usually just what's available from settings in the PCM. After much arm twisting I did get the dealer to shut off the rear hatch warning chime.

Yes, the BMW has all kinds of programming that can be done easily...I bought a CARLY!
There are many, many customizations you can perform from the 'user' level via the PCM.
Other items require the PIWIS system which dealers and many Porsche specialty shops possess.
Your vehicle is limited by its wiring harness. Porsche does not provide wiring for options that were not included
in the factory build. This effectively blocks the customer from adding items later on, as there is no way to connect
them to the vehicle.
Yeah, this is a lease, so I do not plan to do any mods....we just decided that I needed a newer car, nothing wrong with the BMW. but YOLO, and if you can afford it, why not have it
(This is my NEW thinking ...at 84 yo)

There are a few things you can do with the Durametric, but nothing like what you can do to VW/Audi vehicles with Ross-Tech VAGCOM. You can (and I've done) a ton of stuff on various Audis and VW's that are available in Europe but not coded here...

My dealership turned it down, not off. To me it's still too loud. Did he turn it off completely?

My dealership was also reluctant to turn off the warning beep, but did it once I showed them the page in the owner's manual saying they could turn it off for me. And it's completely off, not just muted or turned down.

Yes, dealer turned mine off completely - 2018 GTS. The page you reference in the owner's manual was eliminated from the 2018 manual.
