And the fact that, even with the excessive inventory right now, they're selling still slightly above MSRP is good. Once this wave of flippers passes, it will stabilize IMO.

I guess some guys are happy to put 1-3k miles on a toy and more or less come out even. Still seems odd to me.

Are the private flippers even making money? Presumably they pay sales tax on the car. So once they pay taxes, registration, plus the costs of keeping the car parked, insured, etc., are they really making money with a 10-15% markup over MSRP?

For me, buying this car was never about making money. Im hoping to keep this long term because I love it. However, it is nice to know that if I do sell it, I'm hopefully not going to get hit with a massive depreciation curve that were all used to with new cars.

I'll be interested to see the offer on my GT4 traded to a 991.2 GT3 and how it compares to the listed prices.

I am still on the fence on .2 GT3, Turbo S (DD) or just stay put. GT4 is just so much fun to drive, everytime I think about going ahead, I decide to just wait. That tells me it is a keeper!

supercup, I agree. I'm a bit hesitant.

I'd probably put up my car for sale for $88,888 if I wanted to sell it but I don't so it's a mute point.
