Especially those rare re-sale allocations. About $45k I hear. Plus or minus.

I actually prefer leather (unless wearing Sparco racing gloves with Alcantara), but that's a pretty trivial thing to change. Alcantara wheel at Suncoast (cheaper than leather version, btw):

It sure does. I"d like to see the two colors side by side to see that the difference is.

Dang. Never seen Olympic before. How do we know its Olympic? It's not mentioned on that listing page anywhere.

The VIN also matches as the Olympic Blue car in the GT4 database gmaki maintains. Shows MSRP of $106k.

Hell no!

I don't understand why people automatically think that just because its PTS it's worth a ridiculous amount more. It's just a color! Are we women or men? Com'on, people!

While I'm not a fan of that particular color, I'd pay $125k for a 100-mile PTS GT4 in a color I actually wanted. Say Irish Green. Not because I thought it was "worth it," whatever that means, but because I wanted a GT4 in Irish Green, and if one appeared, by gawd, it's either pay for it or move along. I'd figure that I'd still lose less money over time than most people who buy a run of the mill $125,000 911. Or than I just now lost on a 2-year-old GTS that I traded for a GT4. Yup, I traded a 136k MSRP car for a 103k car (granted, the 911 was a year older and had 12,000 miles).

So I wouldn't have thought twice about paying that kind of money for an essentially brand-new GT4 in a color nobody else had and that I love.

Damn...

Yeah i really was asking the question, not making a statement. Personally, I'm obsessed with Gulf Blue and this color (olympic blue) , to my eye, is remarkably close. For 129k, I'd pay for a gulf blue (there was a Spyder in Paris last year that I still daydream about but that's another story). Which I think answers my original question. Yes it is worth it, to somebody out there that HAS to have an Olympic blue porsche.
