Bill, have the same combo. Works decently but....

be aware rear for me rubs the inner fender (should probably roll them but haven't gotten around to it) and you will get rubber and stones trapped between caliper and wheels with resultant scuffs. Otherwise, car feels great with them.

If you could make the RE71R's fit I'd see no reason why you could not give the R7 setup a try 265/295

Nice pics. I run the R7 265/295 setup on custom wheels and would think the 235/295 setup would push horribly?

haha they "fit" but it was way too much tire for the wheels. Won't be doing that setup again.

what I need to do is get some proper wheels like the rest of you Cota kings!

Ok, honestly, is there a definitive 19" solution with the proper offsets that works with hoosier R7 etc and DOES NOT rub in any way using stock cambers. Mine is -2 up front and -1.7 rear.
Or is the forgeline 19" the only solution with the proper offsets and clearance?
The OZ wheels are 1800 for 4 wheels , vs 1800/wheel for forged.

me 2 (but you do have to trim front brake cooling ducts)
BBS 9" 10.5" ET 50/45
BBS 9" 11" (with 5mm spacer)
forge line 9" 10.5" ET50/43
rear 295/30 fits fine
295/35 need fender roll

there are no such thing as DEFINITIVE solution.
OZ works fine, some comproimse but big $aving.
BBS and forgeline cost more and work a bit better
you mentined running hooser, -2 and -1.7 wont work on hooiser, you need a LOT more camber

No, not the case at all. Just have to setup the car and drive it appropriately. I have mild understeer in high speed turns (very safe) and can easily modulate the balance on throttle in slower and medium speed turns. While I'm sure I would like the added grip of a 265, I find the balance and driveability of the car wonderful and confidence inspiring.

The difference in tread width between the R7 235 and 265 is .2". The 235 also drops the front ride height which can't hurt.
