Hi Martin, just to be clear , you ran those RE71r sizes on OZ 19" wheels?
Again I have -2.0 up front and -1.7 in the rear , and the car is lowered.

I'm only asking because I saw the BBi build with everything under the sun done to your car..

Will you be at the Chuckwalla PCA event next month?

Thanks again,
Dan

Hey Dan, the car has BBS E88 19" wheels (9 inch wide up front and 11 inch wide in the rear). Yeah, I signed up for the PCA SD event like at 9:05am when they opened up the registration and got in.

After finding a cracked spoke on one of my rear OZs on the RS I would inspect the wheels every pressure check. I retired both rears at that point. Not the forged wheels though.

Ok, gonna take a little hoho sniff with the GT4 for the first time. Just ordered a set of 265/35/19 fronts and 295/30/19 rears for the upcoming PCA event at Chuckwalla in Oct.

Saw a post by Race Tech Forged , anyone with experience? It looks as though they start at 4k+ for a set , custom done with offsets. Was thinking 19's. But I am confused as to sizes , mooty shows 9x19 et50, 10.5x10 et43? Does he mean 19x9 and 19x10.5? I saw most use 19's with 8.5 or 9" fronts and 10" rears to fit without rubbing? Any help greatly appreciated.

Does he mean 19x9 and 19x10.5? YES
those use 8.5 and 10 rear are limited by what the manufacturer makes. most likely OZ, at significantly lower prices. nothing wrong with those sizes. but if you want to do it RIGHT. 9" and 10.5" or 9 and 11
