John, Maybe we can organize an East coast run at WGI.
Bill, that would be fantastic. Drove on the new pavement this year with AER it was superb. Also, your name and car is quite familiar I believe we met recently. I was driving through the pits at Thunderbolt in my CR after a session (PCA Shattenbaum, last event of the year), and saw a gorgeous GT4 so I stopped and we chatted for a bit about the characteristics of the car. Don't suppose that was you was it?
I didn't do the November event, October with Schattenbaum was the last for the year. I was with the GT4 group at your shop in the early Spring before my GT4 was delivered. Fabspeed did a Race exhaust on my 987.1 that was posted on several websites.
Pity, I hop between Melbourne and Hobart and would be nice to see the car in person.
Any initial impressions or not fitted yet?
went for a blast today, first thing that smacks you in the face is the sound, almost like a cup car with way more pops and burbles, in a quiet forest the down shifts in sport with exhaust open are ridiculous, there was not one animal fearful of its safety within a 3km radius of me
Power wise the mid range is really impressive, actually so good I was changing up earlier, there was no drone, cels or vibrations. I couldn't really explore the whole rev range on the roads safely but i managed to red line it a few times and holey **** its loud and fast, the gains are there just need to go to the track now

You've got me salivating now.
Got installed yesterday after pre dyno, post dyno today, will post up plots when I get them.
We performed an independent header test this morning with Daniel Pierrez’s 100% stock GT4. He received his Dundon headers last week and responded to my offer of free install and dyno testing.
Daniel has printed Dyno sheets, witnessed all the tests, video taped as well as data logged the events.
DeMan Motorsport has a DynaPac 3000 2wd Dyno and the tests were all performed as listed below.
We first performed a dyno test of 6 runs as the car was delivered, then unbolted the factory Cats and installed Dundon headers as directed.
Within 1.5 hours of our first Dyno test we re-Dynoed with 6 runs of the GT4 with headers installed.
We then installed the supplied Tune Via COBB access port and continued the test with another 6 runs.
We then put the GT4 into “rolling test Mode” and continued the dyno test with 6 more runs.
The results are all printed and Video taped and in the hands of Daniel.
Our results are as follows.
Best HP Stock 362HP at the wheels. (every GT4 we tested was between 349 and 362 at the wheels) 7 GT4’s in those tests.
Best results with Dundon headers installed was 374 HP at the wheels
Best results with Dundon headers and Dundon tune installed was 374 HP at the wheels with nice gains in mid range and loss of the dips at 4500rpm
Car in rolling dyno mode a best of 374 HP at the wheels.
If you have any questions about our testing methods please feel free to ask.

Olsen txt'd me results of pre/post dynos, he's going to send me the vid clips and plots, but here's the nitty gritty. Car started w/ IPD plenum/throttle body. Dyno'd on a dynojet at Botthoff Performance Solutions in Schaumburg, IL.

Thanks for the testing Rick and doing this for the community.
Was there any range in the stock runs, or were all 6 stock runs 362whp? I understand other cars you've run had variation. Any data logs of the stock runs?
If you can send us the Dynapack run files we can compare to our runs this would be helpful to the community as well
Also were the K&N airfilters that we supplied used? In our testing the stock airfilters are quite a restriction especially after the headers were added. Performance mods are all about eliminating the next restriction and our headers identified the air filters to be a big one.. That's why we included them free with all of our header systems...
Were any additional fans directed to the air intakes as in our testing the air box get's heatsoaked pretty quickly, and the ecu is quite picky about intake air temps (ambient temps and SAE correction don't really account for it).
Was the hot air coming out from radiators blocked from getting into the air intakes?
Your dyno reads a stock car much higher than ours, we see 334-338whp peak power from a stock GT4, and it rolls off after that... I think this is the difference between a dynapack 3000 and a dynapack4000.

Post Dyno. Run 3 is BGB tune w/ DMS Headers, Run 1 is DMS Tune w/ Headers.
Couple questions,
Were the supplied air filters installed?
Any more runs than 1 post?
Air directed into the side air intakes?
Was sport on, etc? Any CobbAP logs taken during the runs?
Also can you have them send us the DynoJet DRF files?
These numbers seem to be much more in line with a simple header swap. Now I'm curious, how do they compare to the competition? (just acting as the Devil's advocate here)
