if they fix it all of the pro cars will be putting wheels off there, this keeps them on track. maybe a little less curb banging is in order or knowing where it is ok to curb bang

As much as I'd like extra support, it would have to have a rigid and inflexible contact patch intimately and fully covering the whole upper face of the aluminum casting.
really what they should have is a stamped steel insert inside the strut tower with a flange at the bottom around the circumference. that way all the stress of impact would be transferred to the body not the cast aluminum tower . carl
