Best Track Times in a GT4

Here are two good TWS benchmarks: 1) Pro coach - 1:51:92 A pro coach did three laps in my GT4 with alignment and relatively fresh oem cup 2's on slightly damp track with some standing water left at an apex or two. Did a 1:51:92. (measured with vbox sport integrated with Harry's for video) I think that's a good benchmark of what the car is capable of on oem tires out there in very capable hands. I guess with a dryer track and some more time he could have gone faster. 2) ShakeNBake - 1:48:XX I know Shake has dipped into the 1:48's there, albeit on hoosiers and has posted video on here. If I try and do that I'll fly off the track so far, it'll take them until Wed when they come mow the grass to find me... I concluded mid 1:50's there is plenty fast for "normal" folks on oem tires... Hope it helps a bit.
With all the mods Shake has done, I am not surprised at the 48

Big props to orthojoe for a silly fast time and for helping me find another second in my last session after following for a few laps.

New Jersey Motorsports Park - Lightning Track
Bone stock including alignment, MPSC2
1:14.81 on June 18, 2016
Still have more to get out of the car and much more to get out of the driver.
Only third day on this track. Need alignment - outside edges of tires are shot.

1:31.50 on New Jersey Motorsports Park Thunderbolt Track today.
Just started using an AIM Solo and SmartyCam today. Can't figure out why the track map isn't showing but here's the screenshot of the finish line and a few seconds after the lap finished.
The immediate feedback from the AIM Solo on whether you're faster or slower than your best lap is very valuable. Resulted in lots of fast (for me) laps today.
Bone stock GT4. MPSC2 with tread all gone.

But, at least you will be able to see my line, for better or worse.

John, Nice Lap Times! Set up a YouTube account and you can upload your videos there directly without any involvement of AiM. You can then add them to a forum by copying the required YouTube info. You need to use Race Studio to tell the Solo DL what to send to SmartyCam and that's probably why that data is not showing on the video. When you use AiM Analysis you should see all the data.

Nice driving. To get the maps I think your smartycam config has to have the track map on the setup screen. If it is in there and you are not seeing the maps you need to go into the gps manager and then check the tracks you will be driving. Once you do that it will automatically load the correct track map base on the gps coordinates. I had the same issue.

You mean a proper alignment and 30kg of safety equipment? That's a lot of mods. It's the hohos....

I thought you changed suspension parts, headers and exhaust, throttle body and intake? Didn't you? Maybe I misheard you on those? I assumed your car handles a lot better and makes a lot more power than stock, in addition to the tires? Maybe I was wrong?

proper alignment needs shims. thrust bushings, and toe arms, just like the GT3.
