I was on Goodyear SC3R. I was hoping to beat your time on slicks, but didn’t quite get there…
By “heavy intervention”, I mean it was slowing me down significantly on corner exit by cutting throttle. By lap 3 it went away, and I only saw brief flickering of the light.

If you have sport chrono, try running the Porsche Track Precision App. Within the app and if you download the data, you can see when the nannies kick in. My experience is when ESC/TC kicks in it is not detectible. You can guess where it should/could be kicking in, but I can't say I ever notice it driving. With that said, I have not driven with it off either.
I can't imagine TPMS pressures causing limp mode. Never heard of that before. I wonder if your battery is low. Have heard several reports of strangeness when voltage drops but it's still strong enough to crank. Have you tried reading codes? Surely there is something recorded if you went into limp.

Took my GT4 to Roebling Road today. Had TC/ESC issues all day. First two laps of a session I had heavy intervention so I turned everything off. Went back out and it went into limp mode after the first turn. Came in, turned everything back on and it was fine. After that In later sessions I had intervention for two laps, and it was fine after that. Possibly related to slightly smaller rear tire diameter? 265/35-19 front, 305/30-19 rear SC3R.
Also, does TPMS go stupid if pressures drop below 26? Worked fine all day until I parked it for a while late in the day.
Such a learning curve with this car….

BTW my track wheels do not have sensors and the dash just shows a fault but no limp mode.

You can set the TPMS to track (circle) mode which allows for pressures down to 25psi. Do a session or two and adjust the hot pressure down to 30psi (it will rise by about 10psi or more off cold pressure).

I’m thinking the TC/SC limp mode issues might have been the result of wheelspin on cold tires that I couldn’t detect, even though I was being careful to work up some temp before pushing it hard. Seems like a stretch considering it even did it coming out of T9 at 100+, but I don’t have a better explanation for why it quit doing it after a couple of laps each session.

BTW to reset the TPMS simply select winter tyres for a few seconds and then re-select summer tyres and the system will re-learn after a few kms.
Also, if you have adjusted your tyres down to 30psi hot for the track, they will likely be 20 psi if your leave then to cool for a few hours so will light up the dash warning.

Obviously, outside camber wear depends on the driving pace and track conditions.
This wear pattern is when running the pace of 2:27-2:30 on stock 981 GT4 at COTA.
I think it is more even now.
Front wear after 6 hours of track time
Rear wear after 6 hours of track time

I want to share the alignment reading between new alignment vs re-reading alignment after 6 hours of track time and 1500 miles of street driving.
The cambers hold very well but the toes do change a bit.
Alignment reading was compared at the same shop, same machine, same operator.

Any new consensus or info on 19" tires to run at the track to replace the RE71R's?
I am running Forgeline wheels sized 19x9, 19x11 (have been using the RE71R (265/35R19, 285/35R19)
Reading through the posts in this GT4 track setup Wiki over the past number of months I have compiled this list of replies and questions from numerous people posting:
-For just DE I'll run Supercar 3. For autocross I'll run Falken 660. For Time trials I've haven't decided yet.
-Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3. About the same grip, way more life. May not get the best times, but close and you’ll save $.
-I'm running BFG R1s this season
-Just had the SC2's installed (N1 compound and heat cycled by TireRack)
-I went with N1 Cup2 tires, after running a full season on RE71 last year, I can say these are about a half second quicker. Jury is out on wear rate. I'd like to do a back-to-back with Goodyear SC3, but it seems the SC3 is a hair slower than RE71.
-With my B RE71Rs gone, like many others, I'm looking for good options.
-What are you hearing about the new continental hoosier 200tw?
-The calculated best sizes are not available for our cars, but it's close.
-The fronts are fine with 265/35/19; however, the rears are a little off with 295/30/19.
-With the RE71s discontinued I'm now running Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars on my stock rims. Loving them two track days into the experience. They are also available in an "R" compound which I didn't purchase.
-I've been running Goodyear Supercar 3s and they are very close to the RE71R. They are a good tire. I have a set of Falken RT660 that I'll be trying in September. Hoping I can take two sets of wheels and run the Goodyears and
Falkens back to back.

Goodyear SC3R after seven track days. 245/35ZR19 285/35ZR19 The rears are corded. Great tires, lap times equal to Goodrich R1S. Tarett suspension, 800lb springs, JRZ dampers, OS Giken LSD, -3.0 FT -2.5 RR. Ran them 35PSI hot.

I'd say 25 heat cycles. I did my fastest lap times at about 20 cycles. Fell off the last day I ran them. Lost about two seconds per lap at Summit Point Main--from 1:20 to 1:22.

Any new news on 19" tires for the track?
Anyone have info on the RE-71R replacement?
Has anyone tried the Toyo Proxies R88R?
Track season is just around the corner and I am in need of new shoes for my 10" Forglines, and not sure what to try out???

My experience with the R888R on other cars was not positive, haven't tried them on the GT4. I will be trying out a set of Falken RT660 next week, replacing a set of Goodyear 3R. The 3Rs worked well once up to temp, but I found it took half a session to get them hot enough to stick. Hoping to squeeze one more day out of them (5 total) before switching.
