great i have same size wheels.
265 is great, what i want to hear.
i do not think front full stiff will work on this car
i would start one off stiff or middle.
toe OUT front is must imo
i plan to start at -3 front and -2.75.
but i wont have time to test it until june, my private day.
there will be 3 decently fast GT4 and 1 really really fast one. so we should have some info

I have a set of the OZ rims in the garage with 235 and 295/30 R7s. Fit nicely on the rims. Haven't had a chance to run them yet. Will update when I have (hopefully before the end of April). On the factory Dunlops, with -2.75f/-2.25 rear, and bar full soft front, middle rear, get mild but easily adjustable understeer and tires are actually wearing pretty well. I imagine and plan with Hoosiers to go to around 3 or 3.2 front and 2.5 rear but that could change.

^ I'm guessing of course, but u are at full soft front with mild push, 235-295 will push more.
I was hoping to run 255 front but snb is on 265 (surprised that fits, but I love it) I will try that first. can't wait... but too much work in April and have here day race in May. so June it is

It fits fine. Don't get too crazy with the shims, plates will help keep it tucked in better.

If you run camber plates, do you still need the thrust arm bushings to readjust the castor to avoid rubbing with the 265s?

Mooty, which wheels are you using right now?

Yes, while I didn't start there, we added them to get another 1/2 degree without adding the risk of tire rubbing that shims would bring.

Yes, plates have a similar effect to shims in moving the lower control arm forward.

Couple of questions, about the size -

Can you feel the reduction in effective gearing with the smaller tire diameter? Is the auto blipping still working fine with the reduced gearing?

I think with the right alignment and some more driving finesse I could get 1-1.5 more days from them. I may try running the front bar full stiff as well. We're all learning how to make this car work.....
You need to get stiffer springs for the front. -3.2 front camber didn't prevent me from chewing up my fronts before going to stiffer springs.

I don't need R7s as I'm fast enough on my RE-71s that'll last me 20+ HCs.

450 front and 550 rear swift springs. Then set the front sway to full soft and rear sway to full stiff.
