Default GT4 weight - who's got the lightest

Sorry if there is already a weight thread.
Real scaled weight not advertised weight with assumptions of mods.

I know its listed at 2955lbs and I believe that's the advertised lightest possible weight, I assume no option, except all the delete options, PCCB, no fuel but with oil and fluids? Anyone nuts enough to order AC delete yet?

I'm interested real scaled weights when you guys corner balance them, the options etc..

But also curious how light this (For todays standards) super light car can get..
Wheels..
Seats..
Exhaust..
Doors..
Frunk..
Roof..
Lexan..

The official weight figures I believe are for a car that has:

A/C Delete
Radio Delete
Smaller Fuel Tank
PCCB
LWBS
Lite weight Li battery
Fuel tank at 90% capacity
Wet weight (with fluids), sans driver.

If someone has a car configured exactly this way - that is the lightest weight Porsche could claim under EU directives.

^^ Thanks, I forgot about the Li battery!

The extra cost lighter options are:
LWBS $4730.00
PCCB $7400.00
Li Battery $2300.00

The rest is free, just a matter of deleting everything that can be deletd and not tick any boxes.
The MSRP of such a GT4 that ran out of fuel @ 2955lbs: $85,650 + above options = $100,080.00, just FYI.

I would love to see such a unicorn scaled.

To get it started I think I remember seeing that:

full extended tank, LWBS, steel brakes, with radio and AC, with normal battery = 3100 pounds

To add to my post above, from memory: per EU6 Regulation, Porsche can quote the lightest possible spec. Per my list above:

AC Delete - 18 lbs
Radio Delete - 9 lbs
Smaller fuel tank - 20 lbs
PCCB brakes - 33 lbs (~$7.5K),
LWBS - 24 lbs (~$4.8K),
Li Ion battery - 30 lbs (~$2.5K)

Those are only options.

Fuel remains at 90% - 11 lbs, fluids are topped off.

So to OP – if one has a car with such spec it should be at the claimed 2955 lb curb weight.

Ext range tank full of fuel
Steel brakes
LWBS
PDLS
Fire extinquisher
All other options standard

Model designation delete -->, I know grams, but hey if you're crazy enough to delete AC.. ;-)
You mean fuel is 90% empty, I assume?

Thanks!
I'm surprised that the 14.26 VS 16.91 tank reduces 20lbs!

Sorry - I think we typed at the same time. Keep in mind, weight of the tank is not just weight of the material, but they are measured at 90% full capacity (so adds the weight saved by the fuel itself)

According to 4carl, his car with 1/2 tank of fuel (extended fuel tank), iron brakes, and 2-ways was 3083 .lbs:

The wheels are heavy R 55lb F 46, C20s 50&43, ST20s 54&44.
The Suspension is really well done. Both the F&R control arms are split. The whole rear is much more substantial. Better brake ducking but not as good as the gt3 that has a separate duct for the caliper.
Overall well done. Carl
So you could work backwards from there when adding PCCB, lithium, stereo delete, A/C delete, etc.

CJ's GT4 has all the lightweight options except A/C, maybe he can tell you the true weight.

Yes, you beat me to it and so I edited my post :-)
Great to learn this. So this means that 2955lbs is with an almost full 14.26Gal tank. That's about a 80lb difference!

So an ideal ran out of gas GT4 could really be about 2875lbs.

Thanks guys, very impressive numbers.

I was planning to have my car weighed for a second time next week so tell me, should I go in with 90% full tank? If anyone else will be doing this we should try to compare apples with apples. I recall vaguely that I was at 3025lb when I did my first oil change at 1800 miles and this seemed light for only having LWB's and PCCBs (I have partial leather, AC, and PCM).

Others were reporting heavier with similar specs. At just under 3000 miles now I have very little left of the original Dunlops so wonder if I've removed enough rubber to influence weight in any substantial way?

That's why I went with LWBs and PCCBs. I am trying to get this car as light as possible w/o sacrificing music and resale(A/C) . I have never-ever used the A/C in any one of my toys. Windows are mostly always down to listen to exhaust plus it is stored for the Winter so usually above 45 when I take her out but every one has said no A/C is a sale killer.

I think I am going to by an aftermarket Lithium battery because I heard there are better ones out there and install it from June thru Sept. I heard that those batteries do not like cold weather so I will pop it in for the winter storage and keep on charger.

I am figuring with my build I have to be in the 3020 range. It will be the lightest car I have owned

My car is configured like that (Plus full leather) and weighed 3,060 with around 2/3 tank of fuel.

Cool, then it's consistent. 1/3 tank of fuel should be about 34 pounds, putting you at 3094 with a full tank.
