My car was broken into and all that was stolen was a dirty gym bag and some panty hose (they aren't mine I swear). But what I really lost was a once incorrigible belief that the world was filled with good-nature people. I now believe that everything in existence will ultimately succumb to a slow, painful, lonely death.

Wow that's annoying, hopefully no damage to the car other than the window.

Sorry to hear, that sucks! Can't tell from the pics but other than the window is the car okay? I found someone pushed in all the center cones on my speakers while I was away this week. people suck.

Nope no damage to the other window, everything was fixed in 1 day for $250 (included retint). With the window broken I was more self conscious people seeing my ugly mug in a beautiful car

innumerable window shards held tenuously together by tint, which is also befittingly reflective of my mental state

I walked upon two cops writing a report on two cars parked right next to each other right in front of a PetsMart. A window was broken out of each car. I stopped to chat and told them I see at least two piles a week of broken glass in parking spots in the same general part of town (near where I work). They said they write at least 8 reports per shift for the same thing. They also said in all cases the owners of the cars had left something visible inside of obvious value, or that usually has value. In your case an old gym bag. It had potential of having something of value in it. The SUV they were writing a report on while I was talking to them had a briefcase laying in the back seat. The car next to it had a small handbag laying on the floor. Both were stolen. Since that day, I never leave anything more valuable than a visible charger cord for a phone.

I signed up for this website called Next Door after a few neighbors told me how great it is to meet people in the area and talk about important issues, turns out it's the most god awful thing. It's just a forum for people looking for their dog, trying to sell their junk, and complaining about "suspicious" people.

A lady made a really long post about her car being broken into overnight and her wallet and some other things were stolen out of it and is worried about identity theft, I've parked one of my cars outside every day for the past 10+ years and no issues. Both of my cars are completely empty, I keep absolutely nothing in them, there's no reason to break into a car with nothing inside unless you plan to take the whole car.

Clearly there are extenuating circumstances when you go to the gym and stop at Target on the way home or something, what should you do with your gym bag?

The gym bag was in passenger side footwell and with my dark 15% tint garage, you can't see inside at all unless you get really close. I think they broke the window for ****s and giggles since the car does draw the wrong attention. The panty hose on the other hand was visible...

During a Euro delivery a hotel desk clerk in Paris told me to take everything out of my car including the contents of the glove box and then leave the glove box open. I didn't have any problems. It happens everywhere.

I tracked the snot out of my GT4 again today... this time with a younger, more tatooed crowd at Road ATL with Gridlife.

Watch this Acura go off the track right in front of me, looks like he was fine... rear facing GoPro has great exhaust sounds.

...and the drifting was fun to watch too!

They most likely used a high intensity LED flashlight to peek through the tint to quickly to see what was in the car.
