Yeah, that only works until your wife/girlfriend catches up. LOL!
I never thought my wife ever paid attention to track costs as she never said anything for years. I get a txt any time there is a charge for over a certain amount on one of our American Express cards. A while ago, I get a txt with a surprise charge in her name and texted or called her (can't remember) to check if it was a valid charge. It went something like this:
Me: Hey Babe, I just got a text for a charge on the Amex for about $2000. Just wanted to check if it is a valid charge?
Her: Yes it was me, it was for XYZ
Me: Okay, it is more than usual, isn't it?
Her: Yes, it was. It is about the price of a set of tires.
Me: Stunned silence....
I love her so much...

Having spent tens of thousands of miles behind the wheel of various Hennessey Vipers up to 800+HP... that ACR is no joke, and be glad it's not the Vipers of yore.

What I learned is this, when I go to a track event, my better half gets to do an all day spa day
When I go buy car parts/get service done I can't say anything about her shopping b/c we all know that I end up spending more anyway

Curious... for those in Texas... after the cargo ship docked in Houston Port, how many days until it hit your dealership... for example, how many days after a ship docks in Houston on July 18th would a car maybe be in AUSTIN?

My car arrived in Houston middle of last week and I think the Dallas dealership had the car by Monday. A day or so for PDI and then it was delivered to me in Austin yesterday. So about a week from port to my driveway.
