It's Grey Black 7A1 that has subtle purple flakes.
I prefer the lighter Slate Grey RAL 7015 Y97 that's closer to Audi's Nardo Grey, but nice for a dark grey.

'GrauSchwarz/Grey Black' is an uni/solid color. It does not have any purple 'flakes', subtle or not!

Yes, technically it's a solid color overall.
Scottsdale Porsche had a Grey Black 7A1 997 GT3 RS in it's showroom this past June, and the purple flake is there on close inspection.
Andrew/AWE backs me up on this with `Grey Black tends to have a bluer hue, even purple in some lights, and actually contains a minute amount of metallic flake to the finish' in the following thread; http://www.planet-9.com/club-911-gen...1-turbo-s.html

And if someone at AWE thinks that 'Grey Black' has minute amounts of
'metallic flake to the finish', that is fine. But I am pretty sure that PAG
would not agree with that statement or characterization of its 'Black
Grey' hue, a color which they describe as a solid /uni, non metallic color!
Porsche is very specific at how it defines 'solid/uni' colors, vs colors that
are defined by PAG as metallic (either with metal flakes or ceramic crystals)
'that don’t just reflect light but refract it too, splitting it into different colors
by allowing some light in & slowing it down as it passes through.'
And 'Black Grey' is defined by PAG as a Solid/Uni, period.
