Caught up for now....

• Carrara White (non-metallic) still the most popular color
• GT silver a close second
• Carrara White Metallic at third with just under half of the non-metallic version
• Black (non-metallic) a very close fourth
• Rhodium, Sapphire and Guards Red a virtual tie
• Jet Black and Agate about a dozen and two dozen behind respectively
• Racing Yellow the rarest at 17 cars aside from the PTS colors

Looks like the first Spyder in NA has a VIN of 066 - it's in Carfax but not officially on the Porsche site - so, likely to be a 918 car list most of the missing ones.

Got an email from my SA today.
Mine is now scheduled for delivery in mid April.
He also pulled a string or two and has arranged for me to take delivery at the PEC (90 min. on the track and lunch at Cafe 356, all on them) at the new PCNA headquarters in Atlanta (about 75 miles from me).
Nice! Especially for such a special car!

I'm on the fence with the Yellow Porsche. It think it looks too Loud/Bright but I think it will look amazing when it ages if that makes sense to anyone. I have this association with Yellow Porsche that is probably far from true but non the less my mind tells me that the Yellow Porsche is the one no one wanted and it was sold at a heavy discount... weird these associations we make.

Anyway I was offered a last minute configurable allocation today, need to respond by tomorrow.

I'm a fan of really bright /loud colors (hence my PTS choice) so i'm biased.

Still considering that second one? Not interested in any that are available?

Yellow is probably the color to get. You don't see many yellow cars anymore.

Good question. Well, I'm on the fence. I sort of need an AWD vehicle to balance out my RWD Spyder so if I were to buy off the lot there's no hurry because I have until next December. That's when I will need my new car. So I was looking at slightly used coupe/targa/cabs in 911/991 4S/4GTS and at Panamera Used GTS' and at Used Cayenne GTS/Turbos. I don't want to take another big hit driving off the lot. I like the idea of buying a used 991 4S and adding the power kit and the duck tail at the parts counter and I feel that is sort of a good deal right now.

Since the Spyder is "special" and a deal IMO, I would consider buying another one at MSRP if I could order to spec; otherwise, I want a big discount and sort of prefer an AWD vehicle.

I could get into a yellow car if it was at a discount for sure Milehigh. Just in this Spyder Iteration, yellow sort of limits you with a mostly black interior, in other models, one can order blue or brown interiors to go with the yellow. Sorry to go on and on.

I totally agree with you jean.
That's exactly the reason I did not order a PTS, or yellow (my wife said no, as well, on my Spyder)
I'm saving that for a special 911, or Pano.

For me, it is all in the shade and how the vehicle wears it. Loved my Imola Yellow RS4 cab (which I happened to sell for the Spyder), but I wouldn't care for it on the RS4 sedan I had prior to it. Come to think of it, Imola would be a cool PTS for the Spyder

FYI s2ktaxi- I just checked your updated data base and the total number of colors per car has moved over a column. Yellow shows 48 units but to the left shows 18 for Jet Black Metallic. Something happened like an auto shift but Im sure easily corrected. I did not look closely to catch the problem.

Very interested in what custom tailoring involves... Bet the last few cars have some crazy stuff going on inside them

I'm wondering what Combinations are missing? For instance I don't think there is a red on red Spyder? T
Any thoughts on how a red on red would look?
