My order from Steve at Forgeline showed up (well half of it anyways - enough to test fit).
I think this might help with some of the understeer
OEM Front + half worn MPSC2 is 44.6lbs (really surprised how light - I'm assuming they are forged)
OEM Rear + half worn MPSC2 is 54lbs
19"x9 GA1R + 265 R7 is 43.6lbs - It does not get much lighter than this, this is a damn light wheel - so again, amazing that the OEM front is just 1lb more (give or take, the 245/35/20 MPS2 and 265/35/19 R7 are the same weight - 23lbs)
19x11" GA1R + 295 R7 is 47.2lbs
About 5mm of clearance of rear knuckle
About 10mm front strut clearance
Plenty of rear strut clearance

Plenty of Front caliper clearance
Plenty of Rear caliper clearance
Front clearance at full lock is good, I can fit my hand with no problem
Rear clearance at full lock is tighter, I could see it rubbing under compression
I think this should be fine, especially once I add -3 camber
One change I'll have to make is to compensate for the rake difference with the 265 front. I will need to drop the front about 4mm.

Also thanks for the pictures shakeNbake!!!
What camber does the car have in the pictures?
Could you take a picture of the rear tire near the fender lip to see how much under the fender it is?
If you increase the camber in the front will you reduce the clearance to the strut? Seems like there's plenty with 10 mm, but just wondering.

What are the tire sizes and offsets? I had to use a 5mm spacer on my 19x11 ET50 wheel. Good to know that 265/35s fit the front...let us know how it goes.

It's difficult to tell how much the front tire will tuck in under compression - the rear is completely fine though. The Front is a different story, it looks very close. More camber will fix that I think, not to mention that there is almost 0.5" more fender clearance now due to the 19" wheel.
The front strut clearance should not change with the LCA shims, the wheel is in fixed position w/r to the strut.
I'll take more pics when it gets back from the alignment.

Keep in mind that your caster will increase with an increase in camber. Unless you get the adjustable bushing as well.

That's a good point, it would be nice if someone had already figured all of this out. I don't see many folks trying to run a track dedicated setup, so i will have to experiment my way through this. It's very similar to the GT3, so it's not blue ocean... It could be I need the adjustable arms for caster, or maybe the pucks - we'll see. I think we've all been pretty clear with our desire to run more camber, and I haven't seen the shops give us see-spot-run recipe.

A slight increase might help you with your 265 up front in terms of closeness to structure under compression.

295-35-19 with a 265-35-19 will give the car proper rake, let it turn better, and allow for less alignment/rake changes necessary, compared to running a much shorter 295-30-19.
The 295-30-19 works, but the 295-35-19 is superior in ever aspect, for this fitment. Higher load rating, more progressive handling, proper rake, etc. etc.
