They're allowing themselves two weeks for the CXX Custom Tailoring of painting a handful of the interior components to match PTS. Strikes me that's more than enough time to do that job which of course does include disassembly/reassembly of doors and the dash/console panels. But that's presumably a routine job for them? Since they work on such a tight time budget for everything else on the assembly line wonder why they give themselves plenty of wiggle room for this Custom Tailoring job?

I'm sure it is padded quite a bit... I don't care really... Just want my car done properly and if it takes two weeks, that is fine by me.
I've been browsing on this Forum for a while. I'm French (Paris area) and by end-January 2016, I'll be the - very - lucky owner of a Spyder with the following specs:
PTS: Viper Green (happy to see I'm not the only one here !)
Black wheels + Steel brakes
Black leather + Alcantara interior + Silver stitching
LWBs
BTW, I've been told that with PTS, you cannot have the interior components matching the exterior painting (unlike as for 'normal' paint colours). May car will have carbons inserts, so I'm not really concerned. But you'd better check with your local dealer. Apparently PAG are working on this, but there would be an extra cost to get these interior elements painted eventually. Do you guys have similar info?

Hi Thomas. Yes you are correct about the interior trim in exterior paint color not available for PTS Spyders as a standard option. If you were lucky and worked directly with the Exclusive Studio you could have ordered this as a CXX option (custom tailoring)... at a added cost of course.
By the way... You stated your car will arrive late January... is that the completion date or delivery? I only ask because I have not seen any PTS scheduled for production until January at the earliest.
Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of the CXX option... In any case, my car couldn't be changed (I ordered it all specified - don't ask me why, I don't have the answer). I finally got the LWBs, after some discussion with Porsche, but that was it...
And you're right, my car will be produced in December, as far as I know...
Congratulations to the nice Vipergreen Spyders! I saw the viper factory Spyder first in july and took some fotos.
Awesome! My PTS ist Signalgreen 22S which is very close to viper.
My interior is completely black with black stitching and all possible parts in leather black.End of production in Zuffenhausen is january,22.

Nice... Just updated your info. Which Wheel Color and Brakes did you order?
Added paint codes for colors too... In doing so I noticed that Signal is 22S and Viper is 225!!! Who's bright idea was it to do the paint codes so similar??? That's just asking for a mistake to happen.
It's already snowed in IA and mine is not being delivered in AZ, so I'm in no real hurry as weather won't get reasonable in IA until sometime in April most likely. Mine is supposed to be at dealership in mid March so it will probably spend its first few weeks in the garage
