Same here....written order confirmation (July) indicated "tentative build date October", but still no communication on definitive build date. Will keep you posted once I get the info.

Fantastic thanks. Still nothing on this end.
Weird that Porsche can't tell us when the expected build is. You'd think they would.. I don't know.. have a schedule in place.

That was a given! You are still v170. PTS adds a 16 week delay to your existing allocation month. What was your original allocation prior to PTS?

Yeah, was just hoping for some news otherwise about V status. Hate that they won't at least lock in the color.
Original build date was October, then moved to November for pts.
Looks like Springtime for Spyder !

At this point if you are at v170, your color should be locked in. I was told from Porsche Exclusive over a month ago that I would not be able to change my color if I changed my mind as they were already ordering materials.

Oh.. well that changes things! I was under the impression that they could deny it at any point until locked, so it was not guaranteed until we hit v200's.
If that's the case then I can wait for next year!

Don't kill me if I'm wrong... but the Porsche Exclusive office said being at v170 we should be good to go. They told me in the system it states Materials Being Ordered. It's just difficult because the period after v170 is extremely long (months)... so you feel like you are in limbo.

No worries, its just nice to hear a little confirmation from someone inside Porsche.
That makes ,sense since they would have to arrange everything ahead of time. There's no premier dealer her in CO , so I'm going off what info I can gather here.
Keep reading stories of PTS denials, so I didn't know, what that meant for our orders.

Would someone who has winter delivery pushed to spring become eligible for European delivery in that case? How late in the process can you decide on ED?

I've been in V170 status with PTS since mid to late July or early August. Been so long now I've forgotten!

Yup, we are all in the same boat. PTS has been discontinued since 7/31/2015.
Hope the next 7 months go by quick!

Interesting info from a memo out of the UK regarding PTS:

Spyder:

GT4:

GT3 RS:

Kind of shocked that the Spyder has the shortest delay... But hey, I'm not complaining
