The race is one....there are two boats on the way from Germany now. About 3 days apart from each other
1st one departed 24th Nov, due to Perth 28th December.
Depending on the schedules/stops usually takes 28-45 days.

Looks like lots of LWB's got released for Australia
Mine was a 1st Oct build, but my car decided to enjoy Oktoberfest before getting on a boat hahahah.
Be interesting to compare notes with other on insurance companies for a GT4.

Thanks for bumping the thread Bardman!! Mine should delivered in July/August by Porsche Centre Brighton, after some brilliant help from Richard C. I see Snowman on the forum! I seem to be always following him (I bought my first R35 GT-R from FTG Nissan in 2009, and got mine about a month after he got his lol).
I ordered mine in early October, apparently I'm PCB's last GT4 allocation

Also if you haven't already - as good as this forum is for information - if you are interested in a social side jump on PFA - http://porscheforum.com.au/ I've had a few good meet ups for coffee etc already.
FWIW - this is my little beasty.

There is another guy Mark (not on the forums) who got one of the first R35's from FTG, and he also now got the first Aussie delivered GT4 last year. So it seems we all share common tastes. Richard at PCB is a great guy - he is who I dealt with for both the GT4 and the Macan.

In fact the first delivered Aust GT4 was in Western Australia (Carmine Red). The supply ship visited WA before Melb or Syd.
What was printed in the Christphorous Magazine about the first Aust delivery was also wrong.
The lucky winner for the first delivered GT4 was....
Me!
Just setting the record straight. ha ha.

I have to correct you on that one.
