Charlie can you describe the value of the DSC from your perspective, for road driving only?

For road driving the DSC will adjust the suspension to make the ride smoother and more comfortable. That is what it is meant to do because it samples all different inputs and adjusts suspension accordingly.

I haven't noticed much of a difference on the road though because I barely drive the car around town, mostly spirited drives when it is on the road. I bought it for the track more than road though and I felt the difference on track with the GT4 file loaded into it

My guess is the car has veered into a truck or the other way around. Even potentially the GT4 tried to undertake the truck around a corner and got collected in the process. The wheels/suspension and hood alignment all look perfect, so doesn't look like any direct impact against a solid object. Tow hook could just be to move it around.

But agree with Warwick, looks like a good rally reg project. Will be interesting to see what it goes for.

That doesn't look like a lot of damage for a stat writeoff.

actually veering into something would explain no airbags? and whats hanging out of wheel well below the fuel cap? that's a pretty big hit to the side above the wheel maybe those aluminium top mounts are cracked, that would write it off for sure

Default Koya 19 inch wheels and vibration

I ran a set of Koya last weekend on the PCNSW Vs BMW day and noticed vibration on the M5 motorway and on the SMP main straight. I see there has been discussion about bending rims in the curbs and also the centering rings, which mine don't have. Any thoughts?

Check your 2 left wheels, front and rear and my guess is there is a buckle. T10 @ SMSP is usually the culprit.

Thanks Charlie, I will have the rims checked and rolled. I was running through the gap in the curbs on T10, will have to go around the curb rather than through next time.

Get them checked properly mate. There is time to be made running through the gap but also hard on the wheels if you don't hit it correctly. You gotta get the left wheels just over kerb on that little strip of concrete. I have buckled and cracked rims in the past on it. This is one I did recently.

Nasty one there, tyres are now off the rims and the rims will be inspected.
