The sport technos are very heavy because they are cast and 8.5 & 10" wide.
Sport Technos ARE flow-formed. Porsche had an entire training module on it when the 991 came out.

What's the best way to "turn off" the headlight washers , is there an easy fix? I have never liked getting fluid all over the car.
I'm too lazy to search tonight.

you have to press a button to activate it but I think it activates when the lens gets too dirty itself.

I wanted to delete it but I like powerful headlights because my night vision is quite poor in comparison (may be an age thing). The main weight is in the added water tank size. Just drain it to the minimum level and you should more or less equalise the weight.

I too am keen to weigh my car.

racing yellow (lightweight paint)/lithium battery/PCCB/clubsport/P11 buckets/ac/base stereo/PDLS/leather/64L tank/smoking pack. Would have deleted AC/stereo if they charged for it but can't say no to freebies. I will drain my washer tank to 0.5L before i weigh it and remove the tool kit/board as well.

Just noticed in the Road and Track PCOTY issue they corner-scale weighed the GT4 at 3052lbs. They don't list the options but the car visibly has the PCCBs and LWBs. If you look at various PCOTY photos on various social media sites you can also see contrasting yellow stitching (and thus leather dash/door) and headlight washers. I have to assume they would've weighed all cars equally yet practically (full tank). I also have to assume Porsche didn't provide an AC delete car to journalists.

I think w/PCCBs you will shed 35-40 lbs and the LWBs another 20 lbs.. So lets say you can shed another 50 lbs.

With the lithium batter and A/C delete I think you can get under 3000 lbs

Have a question about the Lithium-Ion battery. Does it last longer than the stock battery? When replacement comes; how much($$) are you out for replacement? Do you use the same trickle charger to keep battery whole when storing? How would this battery fair in the cold winters in the Midwest?

When I weighed mine, I was actually pleasantly surprised how light the OEMs were.

Compared to very light 19" racing wheels from Forgeline (19x9 and 19x11), the OEMs were only 2lb heavier in front, and 3 rear. Not clear how strong the OEM wheels are, but I was surprised with the weight.

With PCCB, no stereo, no ac, LWB, standard interior, no club sport, small fuel tank, no fire extinguisher, no PDLS and less washer fluid, the car would be around 2955.

I have the Braille i48CE installed and according to the manufacturer it should last longer than the OEM...they provide a 3 year warranty. You do need a different charger for this battery and they were providing it free recently with the purchase of the battery. If you drive/start the car at least once every 15-20 days you should be OK.

Mine has been on the car for 3 weeks now and so far so good....the only issue is the price which is pretty high for a battery but you do loose 35-40 pounds in the process.
