How bad was the damage? I got pulled over doing a staggering 29MPH in a 25MPH last year in my 991 GTS. Cop pulled me over since "...car looked fast." Fought it in traffic court and was thrown out

Would've been a $150 ticket. But the principle is priceless.

Clocked me going 90mph in a 65mph.

I was heading to the hospital to see a patient... LE usually lets me go since im only speeding to save someone's life. This cop didnt think it was a good enough reason to speed so he wrote me a ticket.

Gave it to my lawyer... Im not happy about it.

wow. when i got pulled going over the limit running to hospital, cop gave me an escort to the hospital! but i was driving a 4runner not a Porsche

Yeah usually im in my Prius and they always and i mean always let me go.

Officer Lawson... Karma is a bitch. God forbid your ever in the hospital needing assistance.

50/50 for me when it happens.
At least they quick when they do give me the ticket.

Karma IS a bitch. A cop was a total dick to me when I got pulled over once. Few weeks later I'm reading his CT Face with complex facial fractures - I **** you not

Small world... it truly is.

According to my lawyer the judge tends to throw these types of tickets out. We'll see in a few months.

I am not a Dr. or a cop, but both (for the most part) do their job to help people. That said, the cops who write speeding tickets as a main part of their job suck. there is SO much going on on the roads today that speeding (within reason), is one of the least dangerous things. I see cars that shouldn't even be on the road regularly. They are posting a LOT more danger than someone doing 65 in 55 zone. I have a few cop friends, and they refuse to go sit nd run radar. if forced to by their sergeant, they sit in a school zone at 3pm to get people who genuinely are pose an danger to others.
