From Summit Point after a fabulous weekend with Riesentoter friends.
#1: Taken just before I peeled off numbers and departed Sunday afternoon - a very dirty car glows in the sun. The color is more forgiving than expected from ten feet
#2: The track curbing had been saw cut with concrete dust in every corner that turned into a cloud the moment a tire made contact. After a session it dissipated - but the car was moist from condensation and captured the dust. It made an interesting pattern on the wing.
#3: a friend with GORGEOUS BBS wheels that I was drooling over all weekend. Hubby had to talk me off the ledge.
Hey that's my car with the BBS wheels! Nice seeing you again. Good times with a great group of friends and the weather could not have been better.
Myles - I blacked out your number to keep it "anonymous" since I didn't ask your permission to post the picture. I was "stalking" your car and waiting until your neighbor pulled away from their spot so I could get a profile shot to send to hubby
I agree - it was a FABULOUS weekend and the RTR crew is a blast to hang with. You and C.W. and the RTR team did a great job running a smooth event, and I look forward to next year. I'm going to look into coming to the Glen with RTR next summer if I can make the dates work. And I've never been to the NJ tracks. I've been to Pocono plenty (not high on my list although I've never run the "little" track)....
