The will most likely build what they can sell
No 918 guy is going to want one so figure they will make at least 1000 for NA. Remember- not everyone wants a two-seater coup with a wing on it. It will sell well though and they will probably get my business. PTS will be very important to me on this car.
What do you guys think about Metallic orange with ceramics, yellow stitching and seat belts, LWB, satin black rims and A/C delete?

+1 - This should just be a 991 and 981 GT Board
Anyway, with orange I think red calipers and stitching might look better? I want to get yellow stitching, but sadly I don't think it works well with most PTS colors I like.

With all due respect,at this time the 2 category of buyers intersect. I have checked the Cayman forum and there's little to no action there.
Edit : now that I've read this again,I guess you meant the same thing. I apologize,I thought you were complaining about having the Cayman GT4 discussion here...

The problem is there are TWO boards for the cayman. There is the 987/981 section, and there is also a cayman section. We've complained about this for years because there is confusion about where to go and post. but the admin doesn't know how to delete subforums. Instead, most people go to planet 9

I thought they were same size no? Impressive discount but the actual replacement cost is still the big ?... If there are still $17k-$20k to replace then they are still a crazy proposition to me. Nothing would be cooler to me than a white car (or metallic orange ;-) with pccb and yellow stitching. But I can't stomach replacement pccb after just 4-5 track days, even if I were to only go to the track 1/month (realistic for me).. That's new ceramic rotors every 6 mo? Nuts

Does your Cayman GT4 smoke on start up?
I know it too early, but I'm thinking of starting a thread over a Cayman forum...
Does your Cayman GT4 smoke on start up?
Wow, that is a mega amount of smoke coming out of a new car...
