Someone needs / wants one?
I wonder if anybody is willing to spend +- 7600 USD for a complete (non carbon) OEM kit, consisting of
- intake distributor pipe (fits 718 CS intake runners if you already have)
- throttle
- air box upper / lower part with filters
- air guidings / sealings etc.
- window intakes
- carpet with frames etc.

 

Possibly, I'm still yet to see an RS up close.

 

Not bad cost at all. Just take my money if this retrofits the 981!!

 

The BGB kit for this is 6500 and I believe fits both 981s and 718s.

It's the BGB system not the RS system which, I assume, is better hidden.

correct it’s not the same thing … plus you have to drill a whole in rear wall of the engine bay.

@DR.S is talking about genuine 4RS intake assembly (non-WP)… centre plenum with throttle opening positioned at 12 o’clock and then the air box assembly directly on top of that.
I did say at launch I’d expect this to probably fit directly for anyone that has 718CS/GT3(RS) runners.

 

I am struggling to see where the cost is coming from on this set up. It looks like a 5K cooler with some ratchet straps. This looks cool but has heavy heavy Porsche tax on it.

 

I think that the custom made carbon side vents, plus the rnd to make it might explain the cost. I will be amazed if retro fitting the RS system to a 981 will be done for 5k….

 

I'd be interested, would ideally prefer the weissach window intakes

De Man plus a GT4 RS intake, going to be a unique car and mega sound ! Go for it.
