GT4RS intake kit

Will the parts be affordable soon?
I also out myself as a fan of the GT4RS intake. Technically and functionally, I consider this design to be perfect.
In view of this, I desire this very much. Only the parts should cost a maximum of 6k.
Where there is a will, there's a way. If some, I guess 10 members, want this kit, then one possibility would be to reproduce the sidescoops and the Top Cover of the Airbox in CFK, which would cost significantly less than with Porsche.
The intake plenum, the central throttle valve and the remaining parts are could probably buy original from Porsche.
Since the GT4RS has 6 individual throttle flaps (german Einzeldrosselklappen), the CS intake runners should be used for simplicity and cost. The question now is whether the function is given with the single overhead throttle body / valve.
Above all, it has to function technically flawlessly for me. I wouldn't make this investment just for the looks.
Are there some members who would also like this upgrade?
I look forward to your feedback.

Someone needs / wants one?
I wonder if anybody is willing to spend +- 7600 USD for a complete (non carbon) OEM kit, consisting of
- intake distributor pipe (fits 718 CS intake runners if you already have)
- throttle
- air box upper / lower part with filters
- air guidings / sealings etc.
- window intakes
- carpet with frames etc.

I could do so, from developing through manufacturing, based on scans of my incoming 4RS and my ingenuity.
But such a kit would cost > 5k and at least 20 enthusiasts would have come together to justify the needed effort.

I gave my shop a heads up of this project. If the following hurdles can be cleared then the retrofit is possible:
1. Direct replacement of the 718 CS IM Plenum with the GT4RS plenum with the vertically oriented throttle body.
2. Getting the carpet to fit, hopefully the 981 and 718 share the same carpet dimensions over the engine cover.
3. Hopefully the engine cover itself of the 981 and 718 are also the same
I’m going to abort this project if it requires any drastic, irreversible trimming to the body.

This video shows all the components being removed from the GT4RS intake.. It looks like it should be a direct fit into the 981.

Can anyone find the non-Weissach, matte plastic window intakes? Would save quite a bit of money![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
if all the intake components go on well, altering the existing carpet over the engine would be easy
