Default More info about this GT4

I am new to this forum. Wondering if the previous owner or anyone can share more info about this vehicle. Service history, track time, stock / OEM parts...Etc
Thanks in advance.

When I see this many mods I’m worried about trouble down the road. If it was me I’d look for a stocker that you can get in the mid 80s save yourself almost 30 grand. Carl

Looks pretty sweet if your going to mod it. Probably problems down the road.

Very unique GT4 for sure. Not too concerned with “problems” down the road, most of the mods are commonly done on the GT4 with proven results and no CEL issues. All the carbon fiber is a personal choice, and it is expensive stuff. If it has been well maintained (oil changes etc) and low track time (PCCBs are pricey to replace), and you like the look, I say offer them $99k. Everyone knows you do not recuperate the cost of mods, maybe 25% for some but zero or negative for others.

This is my GT4. I gave it to Gas Motorcars on consignment as I don’t have time to sell it. The car is amazing and extremely well cared for. I’m happy to discuss with you if you’d like to give me a call.

I’ve never seen you around. Amazing work on that car. The aesthetics are a little more than I’d probably go for, but everything looks first rate.

Do you mind sharing why you want to sell the car?

thanks!

If you’ve not seen it, I recommend running over to Gas Motorcars to check it out. I think it looks better in person than in photos. I really enjoyed putting it all together and I love the GT4! Honestly, I thought I’d never sell it, but this past year has made me reassess my priorities. I purchased a lot down on the Gulf coast and am building a 2nd home down there. Once the house is built, I’m probably going to get something with a soft top and a little less performance oriented.

I think that that’s a spectacular car. I’d have considered it very highly.

I dont see much on the mechanical side that’s been changed. Headers and exhaust - all east stuff. Engine seems stock? Suspension stock?

Get a good PPI. I think I’d be most concerned with the aftermarket carbon yellowing and what I would do if I had to replace a fender or one of the other aftermarket body parts.

Helpful if all the stock pieces that were removed are included.

Having access to the owner is a great development for you.

Carbon is all perfect and of the highest quality with UV protection. The car has always been garaged so has spent very little time in the elements. All OEM parts plus a bunch of other items are included except the original wheels as I sold those a while back. The HRE P101 Lightweights are far better IMO.

Mechanical mods are headers, throttle body, intake plenum, intake runners, and tune. All are easily reversible, but I wouldn’t recommend going back to stock as this drives and sounds so much better!

Thanks.

Not sure why folks think the mods will cause problems? These are well known mods with a large install base, tested and proven reliable. What "problems" do people see coming from these changes?

Agree. These are low risk mods. Now that I hear about the UV protection, biggest risk is probably car is too loud for some folks.

id buy that car after a good PPI and after getting comfort from and with the owner.

Spectacular car.

I kept the OEM exhaust so it’s not too crazy especially with PSE closed or under 4K rpms.
