I ended up picking up a 987.2 Spyder to scratch my itch. Not sure I'm going to keep my 718 Spyder spot either.

I need a PDK so who knows if the PDK will be available. Maybe the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021 for a PDK if at all.

Any of the available "basic"power packages for the engine (headers, exhaust, intake bits and COBB AP) will cost you around $10 to $13K, probably Dundon being the most expensive.
When you ask Sharkwerks package are you also talking about LWFW and gears? Gears (3-4-5-6) are $1K each without labor, the main shaft/second and first gear combo is another $2.5K. the LWFW with clutch is around $2500

So another waiting list slot has been let go and looking forward to the incoming

After nearly a year and a half since this thread has started who could blame anyone. I mean not one literal piece of confirmation on anything in terms of what this is going to end up being in the end. It had better be more than anyone could have dreamed of to have been worth the wait! Ridiculous.

Thats my plan. I will restore your GT4 to it’s former glory some day, Alan. 😂

If anyone decides they absolutely NEED the 718 GT4 and wants to sell their Dundons..

You should start by reuniting alan’s wheels to his car

Thanks, but I like stock over any aftermarket wheel out there. Porsche knows how to design the perfect wheel IMO. No need to change.

+1 on giving up the wait slot.

I have been reading this entertaining thread and all the GT4 news/rumors for the last 2 years. I start looking at GT3 and end up picking up a Gallardo Superleggera this weekend (sorry will be moving away from Porsche family).

I have a strange feeling that the 718 GT4 will be released right after I make the decision to give up.

That's definitely a hell of a way to move away from the Porsche family and way more fun might I add! Congrats!!
