I am waiting for the GT4 RS!!!!!
It will definitely come??
How long now that's the question? If there is no announcement six months after the release in Geneva, . I will take my current model to Sharkworks for mods.

If they follow similar bump in price over 5 years and next gen, thats about $8k more. Now, they could charge above that being that had something special in the gt4 or they charge more because they drop in an engine that's closure to the gt3 engine then the 3.8 sub 8k rpm engine.

According to this article a 30´Brittish Pound increase in price. Seems like way to much?

And oddly, this article has comments that are months old??

As shown with the released CS the X51 would be too expensive; Porsche came up with a different solution. If Porsche does do a 4.0 NA in the new iteration there will not be a X51 kit with it. Also keep in mind that the X51 included PSE and other things, few of which are already std on the GT4.
So with a base price in rgw mid-to high $90k's, a decently equipped 718 GT4 will cost $110-$120k, plus DAM in many areas, at least the first year or two. By the time you pay tax and (for many the required) clear Xpel film, you are looking at used 991.1 GT3 territory. I also think it will bode well for current (981) GT4 value holding close to where they are now. It would be too big of a gap if they dropped much below ~$85k, at least for cars that aren't excessive high on miles.
I bought my gts right around when pricing was announced on the first gt4. I was light on options and remember it was 87,600 sticker. Going with the same options on the current gts its $95,450 or $7,850.

$95k seems a bit low, although I'm splitting hairs here. I had a hard time finding ones with MSRP's under $100k, maybe because I was looking for LWB's. Then again, more than 50% where ordered with them. FWIW, mine was $103k and does not have the PCCB's, which means any GT4 with LWB's and PCCB's was in the $110k range. So while $95k was certainly doable, I don't think it was most of them, or even the average.

Options will cost more, pdk will not be free...base price im guessing 96-98ish. I see a pdk, bucket pccb car at 115ish, with leather and few options I bet we see a lot of 125-130 cars before PTS.

My GT4 was $112 MSRP and that included LWB's and PCCB's.
Nicely optioned, but I would say my car was pretty much "mid-level" when it came to options, compared to higher MSRP's that I've seen.

Not sure I would classify being in the top 20% of $s spend mid level. Data from gmaki's database

PCCBs were 7k last time around? I bet they are more then 9k this time. Porsche is the only company where old tech gets more expensive with age...

Although cold, I trust this isn't 'old' news.
Rally and Porsche enthusiasts alike rejoiced when the German manufacturer announced it would be entering its 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport in the World Rally Championship’s R-GT class. That car has yet to be fabricated, but Porsche did kindly treat us to an early preview—in the form of a previous gen-718 GT4 mocked up as a development car—last week at an ice-racing competition in Zell am See, Austria. Spoiler alert: It looks and sounds spectacular.

Not sure if anyone posted this already. The article was posted yesterday 2/2/19. Nothing really new in it, but they do suggest a 3.8l engine, which is contrary to what the Porsche source said recently
