The Speedster isn't a huge launch really, they could throw it into the mix or choose a nice automotive event for it somewhere. It's not going to displace any other semi important model launches.

It refers to what is motorized. So in the 2-ways, only recline is power motorized. In the 4-ways on the 911, fore/aft is also motorized, and so on...

Let’s try keep the thread on track in regards to the new GT4.

Gt4 coming in July? 3.8?
didnt read whole article yet just saw it posted. I'm still going with our sources Geneva 4.0
Edit - it's probably circular reporting. That price tag can't be accurate. Does anyone have solid info to tell us a later release?

What do you guys think the base price will be for the GT4? I think it'll be around $100k.

It’s hard to understand how Porsche prices cars in various currencies so I don’t think that you can translate from one country to another.
For example:
In Canada, the 981 Gt4 was base priced at C$96k, which was well below the C$120k ish equivalent in Euros (86k EUR when CAD/EUR ~0,7) and versus USD equivalent of about $106k. Even now when the USD/CAD is 1.31 to 1.35 or more, Porsche uses a 1.25 rate in current cars Msrp in Canada versus US. They seem to choose rates that are lower than current and historical, at least versus the Euro and USD, in Canada and perhaps other non-major markets

I think so right about there too. I’m thinking $98k base price. 718 GTS is $80 and $82k. I doubt with the volume Porsche sold last time they will make the mistake of selling them that cheap again. X51 Powerkit is $10k alone.

$92.000-$94,000 base is my guess.

As shown with the released CS the X51 would be too expensive; Porsche came up with a different solution. If Porsche does do a 4.0 NA in the new iteration there will not be a X51 kit with it. Also keep in mind that the X51 included PSE and other things, few of which are already std on the GT4.

86k€ in Germany included 19% VAT. 88k€ in Belgium incl 21%€ VAT and minor extra kit (alarm prep). I was told a month ago by my local PC sales rep the 718 would be 8k€ over the 981 GT4.
