Haha Mr tcsracing1, you have taken over as the resident GT4 expert now
They swap the launches last minute and I don't get to see the car back in LA, now you get to see it in Daytona.

The CS cost came in very well for 2019.
About the same as the 2017 MR but with SRO evo updates and spares included! So much appreciated from Porsche.
This leads me to believe that the street car price point should be around the same price as the 981 GT4 street car. (Save for 3 years inflation and what ever new bolt on parts are added) The tubs are the same so cost sharing might be passed down as savings to the customer. This would make trading a 981 to a 718 something to consider.
My guess is it will be inline with the price difference of the 981 S/GTS vs the 718 S/GTS....maybe 1 or 2% extra because it is from the GT department and in it's second version.

Today is the big day and I'm super excited! From the 981 to 718 it's been a jump of +25hp which means the 718 GT4 will most likely be 410hp.
I'm on the list for the new GT4 and I can't wait to get back into on!

1300kg/420hp is 3,1kg/HP.
So if its lighter, less HP.
I put my money on 1250kg (lots of CF) and 400hp. 3,1kg/hp.

The 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport will be the first ever production race car with body parts that are sustainably manufactured: the front hood, doors and rear wing are all made of natural-fibre composite material, apparently.
