Haha Mr tcsracing1, you have taken over as the resident GT4 expert now

They swap the launches last minute and I don't get to see the car back in LA, now you get to see it in Daytona.

Dude, when you got to get the grass cut before you can take off in the car seconds matter....

About the same as the 2017 MR but with SRO evo updates and spares included! So much appreciated from Porsche.
This leads me to believe that the street car price point should be around the same price as the 981 GT4 street car. (Save for 3 years inflation and what ever new bolt on parts are added) The tubs are the same so cost sharing might be passed down as savings to the customer. This would make trading a 981 to a 718 something to consider.

My guess is it will be inline with the price difference of the 981 S/GTS vs the 718 S/GTS....maybe 1 or 2% extra because it is from the GT department and in it's second version.

For reference this price difference is 5.5%. That would put the 718 at just under 91k. (84,600 + 7.5% = 90,945). My thought has always been that it comes in just over 90k.

Today is the big day and I'm super excited! From the 981 to 718 it's been a jump of +25hp which means the 718 GT4 will most likely be 410hp.

I'm on the list for the new GT4 and I can't wait to get back into on!

I’ve read 318 pages of mostly nonsense so I’m very excited to finally find out some concrete information today! I’ve had a deposit down for a year now!

Has the space ship landed...?

Does it make 900 HP and have a V25 engine in it?

Pretty sure it will be over 410hp. Everything indicates 420hp +. Maybe look at a percentage increase instead of hp. Why is the information not out yet Are they waiting for 11:59pm in Alaska ?

It has to be at least 3kg/HP.
1300kg/420hp is 3,1kg/HP.
So if its lighter, less HP.
I put my money on 1250kg (lots of CF) and 400hp. 3,1kg/hp.

The 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport will be the first ever production race car with body parts that are sustainably manufactured: the front hood, doors and rear wing are all made of natural-fibre composite material, apparently.

I think the thing will be heavier to be honest. The 981 was 1340 kg from memory. My guess on the new car will be around the same or 1360kg with 415HP.
