Another ~14.2 Million ICE Vehicles sold in the US in 2023. BEV sales were ~1.2 Million units or approximately 8% of total light vehicle sales.
BEV's made nice gains in early 2023, then stagnated in the 2nd half as inventories swelled on dealer lots. We will see where BEV sales go in 2024, yet Automakers are making strong shifts to Hybrid power-trains and delaying further BEV models.
Interesting to follow this topic with so many moving pieces. Choice is a good thing. Let's hope forced adoption is not the future.
