White Cars, Why

Right. That's what I did too. Just changing a few things to black to break up the white refrigerator look you can get sometimes lol.

I actually only test drove this color truck because it was close to home(I had said I'd never own another white vehicle), but the missus went with me and she really liked the black and white look so....

I love white cars. It's easy to clean and detail and doesn't show scratches. Brake caliper/interior/wheel choices are easy to mix and match to white paint as well. Love the contrast between the black trims and tinted windows with white paint as well.

Depends on the car…
My 356A Speedster was delivered in white, and I had it restored to original. Honestly I don’t love white cars, but the Speedster was truly epic. Probably because the car is tiny and dramatically low in profile… boring color but in this case it effectively got out of the way of the iconic contours.

Never understood why people get SPORTS CARS and get boring colors. You want to stay under the radar? Get a Camry. Sports cars should be loud and in your face, go with Guards Red, Lava Orange, Shark Blue... you get the hint

Maybe not everyone wants the attention. Maybe they just like the driving experience and not the look at me experience. Especially in a daily driver. I wanted white or black but when I found the perfect spec during my car search it just happened to be in Carmine Red. I had to convince myself I could live with a red car (that isn't a Ferrari). Also I imagine bright sports cars are subject to more scrutiny from law enforcement and thieves. If two cars are traveling at 80 mph down a highway who does the Highway Patrol stop, the white Camry or the Python Green GT3RS? It is one of the reasons the GT3 Touring cars are so popular. Some want the performance and driving excitement without the over the top aero kit and wings. In your face is OK and so is subtle. Those in the know regarding cars, are just as impressed with and notice a white GT3 or Ferrari 488 as they are with racing yellow or lime green Lambo's. When my father use to see a flashy and flamboyant individual with out much to offer, he would turn to me and say "that guy is all sizzle and no steak" A white Porsche is about the steak, with a little less emphasis on the sizzle.

I owned a red Corvette once. It was a cop magnet. Never again. I love my white Porsches and the silver one too.
But if I could do a PTS it would be an olive or Irish green.

Moonroof Heat
New CPO 2020 Cayenne S owner and am noticing how warm it is on the inside when left in the sun. The sunshade is closed but was wondering if getting the ceramic coating with extra tint is the answer?

If you mean a ceramic window tint that cuts down on UV penetration, and overall light penetration in general…then yes, ceramic window tint (film) will make a difference.

I love white cars, myself..what doesn't work too well are all the swirl marks in dark colors, the super heated cockpit in the AZ sun, etc
