Default Kolken/Tarret style bars (1-1/4"F and 1"R), billet Al mount

I have some Kolken/Tarret style sway bars I'm selling. Front bar is 1-1/4", rear is 1" (I've been told most are 30mm/22mm, but don't know). Additionally, I have some billet aluminum front sway bar mounts. that triangulate to the front cross member. Very stiff, I've never seen these before, but am told that Joe Cogburn developed these to run on his Turbo Cup car back in the day. All fasteners and drop links and stuff are included. Note front bracket scraped a little bit.

Front bar, $450.
Billet mount, $250.
Together, I'll let them go for $600.

Rear bar, $350.

I'll let all of it go for $900.

E-mail me at hking@performanceracingoils.com. You can call either Karl or me Racer's Edge, as well (865-862-5262).

Cheers,

Hi,

Are those front billet mounts custom made? Do you know if my normal Tarett 944 front bar will bolt up to them?

Thanks,
Chris

Those mounts are just an early version of the Tarett sway bar mount. I have the same ones on my Tarett front bar.

How much do the front and rear bars each weigh with all of their hardware? The Weltmeisters are incredibly heavy! Guessing these will be much less with all of the billet - thanks.

The system is very light. Will try to get a weight on them, but they are much lighter than I expected them to be!!!!

I have been looking, but I can't find out anything about the mounts. Karl Poeltl told me that they were Joe Cogburn's design. Tarret doesn't show them on their site, they just show the small pillow block like thing.

This is the kind of thing I keep finding when I search for it.

Side note, just found the note from the previous owner. The bars were sourced from Kolken (are they still in business? Their site isn't up).

Ira from Tarett said mine are from the original prototype run of bars. It looks the same as yours but not anodized red.

Here is an old pic (circa 2007) where you can kinda see them:

Chris sent an email to me this morning, he is first in line, pending a measurement. VW, you are next.

Byron, about the only thing that would interest me would be a set of CCW's or similar lightweight race wheels.
